AP Courses has sold just under 4000 Courses to Kleinwort Benson Channel Islands
AP Courses given seal of approval by leading Channel Island business
AP Courses, the training division of AP Group, has been given a ringing endorsement of its services by Kleinwort Benson Channel Islands (KBCI).
KBCI have purchased 249 licences which allow access to approximately 4,000 courses from AP Courses from the Microsoft Office 2000 suite, and over a three-year rental period, KBCI will train 249 of its staff on the Approved PC-based workplace learning method.
Courses bought by KBCI, one of the Channel Islands’ leading private banks, include Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, FrontPage and PowerPoint. The training is run internally at KBCI, allowing staff to take the courses at their own pace, progressing from foundation lessons through to expert user.
AP Courses has also supplied KBCI with a learning management system that provides managers with activity reports and allows them to chart each staff member’s progression through the suite of courses.
AP Courses Managing Director, Gina Le Prevost, said she was delighted that KBCI had seen the merit in purchasing a range of courses for its staff.
"We have worked hard to tailor the products offered for workplace learning to suit the requirements of companies in the Channel Islands," she said.
"This order from KBCI is a reflection of the standard we offer through AP Courses."
KBCI human resources manager, Martin Dyer, said the company had been looking for a suitable alternative to sending its staff on training days out of the office.
"We realised we were spending a lot of money on providers offering day courses out of the office and, after analysing costs and results, we realised what we actually needed was the right in-house training suite," he said.
"AP Courses could supply what we wanted, when we wanted it and at the right price."
