E-Learning

We offer a range of courses in IT, end-user desktop courses (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint), business and professional development. All of our courseware comes on a CD Rom with audio, so you can complete each one at home, at work or in one of our training centres.

Every course starts with a pre-assessment which gauges your current ability and removes all the topics that you already know - which means you don’t have to repeat sections unnecessarily. You then work your way through the course. The topics explain what is happening, and have simulations and interactive parts so you are actually performing tasks too. At the end of each unit there is another assessment, which will show whether you have learned all the information. After this, the course again removes all the topics you have mastered, so you are left with only the sections you need to revise again. If you re-do the assessment and forget something that the course has now removed, it will reinstate it so you can try again.

Our courses have a very high success rate, with a large proportion of students absorbing and retaining the information. They are also fun and easy to use.

How do our courses work?

Training (CBT)

¨ Students are taken through the course by a computer and are assessed on what they have learned.
All the courses have the same look and feel.
¨ All the courses have audio, which assists in holding the student’s attention.
¨ Each course is split into topics, lessons and units, and a topic takes around 5 to 7 minutes to complete.
¨ Each unit has a pre-assessment and a post-assessment.
¨ The pre-assessment removes all the topics already known.
¨ The post-assessments assess the student’s retention of the topics learned and suggest which areas need revision.
¨ The assessment questions are drawn from a random pool so a student cannot learn just the assessment questions.
