How do our courses work?

How do our courses work?

All of our courseware comes on a CD Rom with audio so students can complete each course at home/work at their own pace and during their own time or arrangement can be made for them to complete the courses in our training centre.

Every course starts with a pre-assessment which assesses the student’s current ability and removes all the topics from the course that they already know - which cuts down on time and boredom from repeating material they already understand. The student then takes the course working their way through each topic. Each topic explains what the subject is and has simulations and interactive sections so students are actually performing tasks.

At the end of each unit there is another assessment, which ensures that the student has learnt all the information. After this assessment the course again removes all the topics they have mastered so only the topics not mastered are left for the student to complete again if desired. If a student re-does the assessment and forgets something that the course had previously removed - it will now add that topic back into the course so they can re-learn it.Our courses have a very high success rate for students actually learning and remembering the course topics. They are also fun and easy to use.

Technology Based Training (TBT)

  • Students are taken through the course by a computer and are assessed on what they have learnt.
  • All the courses have the same look & feel.
  • All the courses have audio, which assists with keeping the student’s attention.
  • Each course is split into topics, lessons and units and a topic takes around 5-7 minutes to complete.
  • Each unit has a pre-assessment and post-assessment.
  • The pre-assessment removes all the topics already known; therefore reducing time spent doing the course.
  • The post-assessments assess the student’s retention of the topics learnt and suggest which areas need revision.
  • The assessment questions are drawn from a random pool so a student cannot learn just the assessment questions.
