AP Courses offers a number of tutor-led/blended learning courses from basic to advanced level to equip individuals with the right skills to succeed in today’s business world.
With the rapid development of technology in today’s business world, there is now increased competition across the board, and management gurus remind us that people are the key to success. The more competitive firms are constantly improving their most valuable asset through training. Now those firms that do not pay attention to the skills needed by staff for their business are having to work at the same pace as those who do: the firms that do want a more highly skilled work force, higher capacity, better leadership, greater productivity and, ultimately, higher profits. If your firm is one of the latter, AP Courses can help you achieve it.
Learning has traditionally taken the approach of the knowledgeable teacher imparting wisdom to pupils, and although there are advantages to this style, it can be very boring and unproductive for delegates attending courses, especially if the sessions are practical topics such as Telephone Skills or Microsoft Applications. The opposite learning approach takes a practical format and, once again, although this has arguable benefits, underlying information with regard to topics and solid explanations can be missed.
Therefore, AP Courses uses blended learning. This is a combination of different styles of delivery, teaching and learning.
Everyone has different methods by which they learn best, whether it is actually by doing, by discussions with peers, by case studies or by experimenting. At AP Courses we try to cater for all learning styles by blending different types of delivery within each session. All tutor-led sessions are based around the tutor explaining the topic or the course. However, also included can be individual or group work, problem-solving exercises, answering questions, either written or on the specific application, or making use of e-learning.
The aim for AP Courses is that, by using different delivery techniques and catering for all learning styles, each delegate gains the most out of the session(s) they attend.
